If you manage a Rock-powered site, you already know your website is ministry. It takes prayer requests, processes giving, shares critical content with those who need it, and often makes the first impression on a guest. When bots knock it offline or high traffic requests cause downtime during a critical registration, it all stops.

That is why we built Triumph Shield.

Shield is a new subscription that bundles the Triumph CDN with a web application firewall (WAF), both tuned for Rock. Nothing else in the Rock ecosystem does this in one product.

What It Does

Triumph Shield combines two things into one:

  1. The CDN serves pages and media from locations close to each visitor, so the site loads faster. It also makes image management easier.
  2. The firewall inspects traffic before it reaches your server. Spam submissions, scrapers, and credential-stuffing attempts get blocked. Real visitors pass through.

Why We Built It

Earlier this year we wrote about five layers of defense from bot attacks. The last layer, a Web Application Firewall, is the one most churches cannot easily set up on their own. It takes expertise to configure and the rules have to recognize Rock-specific traffic: dynamic routes, plugin endpoints, normal admin behavior.

Triumph Shield takes that work off your plate. We built it on infrastructure trusted by millions of websites, and we tuned it specifically for Rock. That means it understands Rock's unique traffic patterns, so it protects without blocking the people you actually want on your site.

What It Means for You

Pages load faster. The CDN keeps copies of your site on servers near your visitors, wherever they are.

Form submissions get cleaner. The WAF blocks spambots, scrapers, and credential-stuffing attempts before they reach Rock, so staff stop triaging junk.

You are not on your own. The Triumph team runs Shield, so when something hits your site, you have people in your corner who do this every day.

Who Gets It, and When

Shield is rolling out to current Triumph CDN and Rock Cloud subscribers throughout summer 2026, and it is available today for anyone running Rock who wants added protection. Learn more about Shield here.
